The Shoulder Dolly Lifts Heavy Objects With Ease

Forearm straps provide extra leverage when lifting heavy objects, but the Shoulder Dolly takes it to the next level, allowing for hands free lifting with your legs and shoulders doing the work.

Details:
1. Ergonomically designed
2. Adjustable for personal size and also for height differences between lifters
3. Frees your arms to open doors, move obstacles etc.

Developed by a professional movers

The shoulder dolly allows you to move large items of furniture without even using your hands. As can be seen in the picture above, it's easy to carry a sofa with no hands, even with someone laying on it! Taking the strain off your back and arms, the shoulder dolly prevents injuries and significantly decreases the degree of difficulty. It will also reduce the extent to which floors are damaged by white-goods and large wardrobes being scraped against them due to being to large to lift. This product was developed by a professional mover to prevent awkward bending, muscle strains and other injuries that are common when lifting such large items.

Heavy Duty 'Pro-Lift' Shoulder Dolly

If you don't mind spending a little extra, this padded shoulder dolly made of military grade materials may be worth considering.

Details:

1. Professional standard shoulder dolly lifting system.
2. Military grade materials (as heavy duty as you can get).
3. Fully customizable harness
4. Padded vest to maximize comfort

Made to lift up to 4500 lbs, this is a serious piece of lifting equipment. It might be a little more expensive, but back surgery is also quite costly.

This going to make life a lot easier for anyone involved in lifting and moving heavy objects on a regular basis, such as those in the furniture removal or construction industry. It'll also be great for anyone with a serious move coming up who wants the best. What especially separates this from your standard version is the padding on the shoulder and back. The harness and straps are customizable and adjustable to allow for different heights and allow different sized objects to be lifted securely and ergonomically.

Women can get more involved.

These could definitely make me more useful during a move.

I don't think I have the strength to really make proper use of this lifting system's heavy duty capabilities. Although the padding would be great, being somewhat financially challenged I'd probably be more inclined to get the standard shoulder dolly.

I have slim hands that are quite weak and I really struggle to get a grip. I generally feel quite useless when furniture is being moved. Generally my partner has to call a friend or brother to come and help out. However, with lifting straps like these, I'm pretty sure I could get right into helping out with a move. I could even help out carry up and down stairways. I've tried moving mattresses from room to room before and had a lot of dramas, including pains in my neck, back and wrist afterward. When I found these carriers I just thought It seemed like an idea that more people should be aware.
